I'm going digital with my independent Literacy Centers! And I found the perfect way to do it!
Drag-and-drop activities have been very popular on platforms like TeachersPayTeachers and around the web in general. They are super easy to create with Google Slides. Check out the post about that Here.

4 Steps to Create Amazing Paperless Literacy Centers:
1) You're going to be storing and organizing everything in Google Drive. So you'll need to create a gmail account..... I created a new one to use specifically for my Centers.
2) Create or Purchase various Google Slides interactive activities/worksheets at your students' independent level.
3) Turn the slide's link into a clickable desktop icon!
4) It's sooo easy... students just click the icon, do the worksheet, and don't have to worry about saving it because it saves directly and automatically to your Drive.

I hope that sounded easy enough! There is a bit of a learning curve to get started, but I think you'll find that this ends up being a huge time-saver in the end. I've also found it very engaging for students.... they can't wait for Literacy Centers and are disappointed when there isn't a digital worksheet!
